Aftermarket Assassins Secondary Clutch | 2016-20 Polaris XP Turbo / Turbo S / RS1

 

If you're looking to replace the secondary clutch on your factory 2016-2020 Turbo RZR or 2018-2022 RS1 model, we offer two options: a bare clutch (no helix or spring) or a loaded clutch with AA helix and spring. If you opt for the loaded version, please note that you must already have primary adjustable clutching.

If you need to order primary clutching or are unsure about the appropriate S4 clutch kit for your specific model, feel free to contact us for assistance.

Benefits of our clutches loaded with AA components include:

 Custom-cut helix for better power delivery to the wheels on 2017-2018 models due to a slightly steeper angle.
More consistent RPM sweep across all models, enhancing clutch performance.
Our straight-angle design for turbo machines avoids issues caused by changing loads during shifts, resulting in better performance and belt life.

We also offer a Torsion Anti-Chatter Kit, which upgrades your secondary clutch to a Torsion-style spring and helix. The main benefits of this kit are improved belt grip with the Torsion spring that gains rate as it shifts, reduced annoying secondary clutch chatter, and smoother engagement, making it ideal for crawling. Additionally, the peened-over secondary bushing prevents walking out.

Please note that the Torsion kit slightly limits top speed, and we recommend using it with the AA primary clutch limiter, achieving around 80-85 MPH top speed for most models. Our kits work well with both stock and modified machines and provide the following advantages:

- Huge acceleration gains
- Wicked throttle response when on and off the throttle
- More efficient power transfer to the wheels
- Cooler running belt temperatures, especially when running larger tires or paddles
- Longer belt and clutch life

Now, let's explore the helix options:

1. Performance Helix 1031/Torsion 1026:
- Aggressive holeshot helix, perfect for trail riding, dune riding, racing, and drag racing.
- More aggressive shift angle from 0-25 MPH compared to the 1024 helix.
- Suitable for crawling when needed but excels in high-performance scenarios.
- Works well with 28-32" Tires / 28-32" paddles for 2017-2020 2-seat XPT & Turbo S models.
- Recommended for ALL 2016 XPT models (except those running larger than 33" tires).
- Works well with 27-32" tires for 2018+ RS1 models.

2. Performance Helix 1024:
- Slightly less aggressive shift angle from 0-25 MPH compared to the 1031 helix.
- Excellent all-around helix choice, great for crawling and slow-speed situations.
- Provides powerful acceleration when needed.
- Works well with 28-33" Tires/paddles for 2017-2020 2 or 4-seat XPT & Turbo S models.

3. High Load Helix 1021/Torsion 1032:
- Ideal for those using very large/heavy tires (32-35").
- Slows the shift down to act like it's "gearing down" the secondary clutch, preventing belt slip in higher load situations.
- Recommended for crawling or with heavy 32-35" tires.
- Works well with 34-35" Tires for 2017-2020 2-seat XPT/Turbo S and 32-35" tires / 32" paddles for 2017-2020 4-seat XPT.
- Works well with 34" or bigger tires and 31-32" paddles for 2018+ RS1.

The high-load helix can be used with any tire size 29" and greater if belt life is your main priority, and performance is not a concern. On the other hand, the performance angle can still be used with larger tires and paddles if you prioritize all-out performance, but keep in mind that belt life will be reduced compared to the high-load setup.



These clutches fit 2016-2020 RZR XP Turbo & Turbo S Models 2 & 4 Seat, 2018-22 RS1 Models but do not fit 2021 Turbo models.
