Trail Armor offers a comprehensive skid plate set designed specifically for the Yamaha Wolverine RMAX4, RMAX4 1000 X-TR, and RMAX4 1000 LT Edition. These skid plates are constructed from Trail Armor's own custom blend of ultra-high molecular weight polymer, providing exceptional durability and protection for the undercarriage of your vehicle.

Here are the key features:

1. Material: The skid plates are made from a 1/2" plastic skid material that is lighter than traditional metal or aluminum skid plates. This material has no "impact memory," meaning it can absorb shocks without denting, galling, or corroding like metal skids.

2. Leading Edges: Trail Armor was the first in the industry to incorporate leading edges on its skid plates. These leading edges are featured on the front and rear sections of the skid plates and serve to protect vulnerable frame edges and wheel wells from blunt edge impacts. They also act as a starting edge to help the vehicle slide over obstacles smoothly.

3. Side Panel Design: The skids for the RMAX4 models feature side panels that extend approximately a 1/2" past the rocker panels. This design provides added protection for the vulnerable sides and rocker panels of your vehicle.

4. Easy Installation: The skid plates come in easy-to-install panels that directly mount over the existing metal factory skid plate. Recessed mounting holes protect fasteners from damage and keep bolt heads from protruding. All necessary hardware and photo-documented installation instructions are included.

5. Maintenance and Drainage: Access holes are strategically placed to provide easy access to service points and oil drains, making maintenance a breeze. Additionally, the skid plates have strategically placed drain holes that allow dirt and debris to wash out, eliminating the need to remove the plates for cleaning.

6. A-Arm Guards and Bash Plate: Please note that the A-Arm guards and bash plate shown in the pictures are not included with the skid plate set but are available for separate purchase (part numbers TA011ARMIMP-YW-RMAX4 and TA-YW-RMAX-BASH).

7. Color Options: The skid plates are not matched to any OEM graphic package. Colors are considered a special order and are non-returnable. If you have questions about color matching or blending with your vehicle's plastic and/or graphics, it is recommended to contact Trail Armor directly.
