Aftermarket Assassins S3 Big Belt/Floating Clutch Kit | 2020+ Ranger 1000 Single Cam
S3 Recoil Clutch Kit is precisely what you need to unlock the full potential of your 2020-Up Ranger 1000 Single Cam. This comprehensive kit replaces your entire secondary clutch and includes the primary weights & spring. The secondary clutch is the Team Tied floating version, expertly designed for the transmission shaft of the 2020+ Single Cam models. This type of clutch was utilized in the 2014-15 XP 1000's and other high-end models with great success. Its floating design ensures consistent alignment from idle to full shift-out, resulting in fewer belt and clutch issues, improved clutch consistency, better belt alignment, and enhanced overall performance.
Please note that upgrading to this clutch requires the RZR XP1000 style belt, which is available as an option for those who haven't previously purchased it from us. The factory secondary clutches on these models generally start to show signs of failure between 1000-2000 miles, making this clutch kit a valuable upgrade.
S3 Recoil Clutch Kits deliver a massive punch, regardless of the terrain you ride on. On the trail or racetrack, you'll experience wicked acceleration and instant clutch response when you get back on the throttle after taking a corner. In the dunes, you'll enjoy the same benefits, along with significantly reduced bogging when climbing large dunes. The machine will maintain RPM so you can reach your destination faster and more efficiently. If you're into mudding, our mud setup ensures your tires turn through thick and deep mud with much better RPM and wheel speed, making it easier to climb out of challenging holes.

The professionally set-up secondary clutch is a Team Tied floating clutch loaded with our performance helix and spring, similar to the ones found in the factory 2014-15 higher-end models. The floating design keeps it aligned from idle to full shift-out, resulting in cooler belt temperatures and extended belt life. These kits work exceptionally well with both stock and modified machines. They are a must-have when running larger tires or paddles, providing much faster acceleration, wicked throttle response, and quicker downshifts, all while maintaining more consistent clutch performance.
The clutch floats back and forth on the secondary shaft, ensuring perfect alignment with the primary clutch at all times, even under torque/power. Engine braking in the secondary clutch can be removed for more free-wheeling when off the throttle. This also reduces belt slap on the clutch cover, thereby improving belt life and longevity. Running larger tires or paddles? No worries! This kit ensures cooler running belt temperatures, further enhancing performance and longevity.
Recoil clutch weights are equipped with easy-to-adjust magnets and feature a custom AA profile with the BEST coating on the market (nitrocarburizing). This coating offers increased wear resistance, improved fatigue strength, and enhanced surface lubricity. The magnetic weights are the ideal choice for precise mass placement, resulting in optimal performance for your specific application. Moreover, they offer great performance and the flexibility to tune for various applications or future modifications without the need for extra parts.
The kit includes a detailed initial setup guideline, highlighting the best setups for dunes, mud, or all-around trail riding. It also provides brief instructions on installing your clutch kit and other essential information.
Choose from two clutch kit options:
1. Standard Load: Designed for stock or near stock-size tires (26-30") and perfect for most fast-paced trail riders or racers.
2. High Load: Intended for those with larger tires (31-32"), mud tires, dune riders, and paddles 28" or larger. This option suits mudding and duning, requiring slightly different clutching.
EBS (Engine Braking) Options:
1. Keep Engine Braking: Similar to factory settings, preferred by most slower-pace riders (mud, crawling, or hilly terrain).
2. Remove Engine Braking: Opted for by most faster-paced trail riders/racers or dune riders.
