SuperATV's Frame Stiffener / Gusset Kit reinforces the weak spots on your Honda Talon's frame so it holds its shape when you add big tires, portals or a lift and ride hard. It is made from 4.5 mm heavy-duty steel plating and powder coated, and it fits 2019+ Talon 1000R and 1000X, 2023+ Talon 1000R-4 and 2020+ Talon 1000X-4.

WHY ADD A FRAME STIFFENER?

Every upgrade that makes your Talon more capable also puts more load on the frame. Here is why that matters:

• Big tires add weight and force. Larger, heavier tires make every bump hit harder, and they send more torque into the frame every time you get on the throttle. SuperATV built this kit to keep the stock frame from deforming under that kind of riding.
• One bad hit can tweak a frame. Landing wrong in a rut or catching a big rock can bend a stock frame permanently and throw the machine out of alignment. The gusset plates add support where the frame needs it most.
• Recommended with portals. SuperATV says the Talon is tough enough for its 4" portal gear lift, but if you add another lift, big tires and heavy passengers, the frame could bend, so it recommends this frame stiffener for that kind of build.
