Our innovative two-piece design is the result of extensive trail testing and offers relief from backdraft dust while providing unparalleled face and eye protection. That's not all—the CoolFlo Windshield also helps to reduce cabin temperature, ensuring a more comfortable ride. So, what makes CoolFlo windshields different from other shields on the market? Let's delve into the problem itself.

In an open, roll-caged vehicle, air flows freely while in motion. However, when you install a windshield, the airflow is altered, creating a low-pressure zone behind it. Ever wondered why your hair blows forward toward the front or windshield when riding in a jeep or convertible? It's because of this low pressure. Automakers have tackled this issue by adding spoilers to roof racks and rear windows to create an air curtain. While this works at highway speeds, the problem persists at lower trail speeds. This low-pressure zone is what draws dust into the cab.

The CoolFlo Windshield tackles this problem head-on by simply removing the lower section of the windshield. Special foils redirect the airflow downward to the floor and backward into the cab, effectively breaking the low-pressure zone and expelling trapped engine heat from the vehicle. The upper portion of the CoolFlo Windshield remains in place, providing essential eye and face protection.

Worried about riding without a full windshield on colder days? No problem! You can leave the bottom part on and remove it later if needed. Others have attempted to address the dust and heat issue with half or three-quarter windshields, but these solutions only reduce the low-pressure zone—they don't eliminate it. Moreover, half windshields fail to provide adequate eye protection, leaving you with limited coverage, slightly less dust, and cool air blowing over your head without relief.
