TPR Billet Valve Cover For Can-Am Maverick X3
TPR's Billet Valve cover is perfect for anyone looking to get the maximum performance and HP out of their Can-Am X3 motor! CNC machined in house from a solid block of 6061 T6 billet aluminum. This 3D design cover is a direct bolt on with no modifications required.
TPR valve covers are made in the USA and are specifically designed to improve performance of your engine and diminish factory design issues. TPR's camshaft oiler valve covers ensure the top end of your engine is getting all the lubrication it needs and has been proven through all the major BAJA races with zero cam follower failures.
TPR's valve covers give you the ability to run MSD performance coils or stock plug wires.

Crankcase Ventilation Through Cams
Can-Am motors use an ingenious design for crankcase ventilation to reduce oil drafting. This is achieved by using the exhaust cam as a breather port. Camshafts in the X3 engine are hollow allowing crankcase pressure to travel through the center of cam from the timing chain cavity where there is minimal oil then transfer through a V-ring seal to valve cover breather port.
From the factory they only use the exhaust cam for crankcase ventilation and can be restrictive when power levels are increased. TPR’s Can-Am billet valve cover will allow the use of both intake and exhaust cams for crankcase ventilation doubling the ability to breath under high demands.
If you want to use the dual cam breather setup, the intake cam will need a very simple machine process to accept the second V-ring seal. We will offer this service on all cams we sell. Cover comes standard with an insert installed blocking off second breather port. If you're installing cams with the second V-ring this insert can be removed to utilize the dual breather set up.
