The Method 401-R is the racing version of Method's classic 401 beadlock. It was developed for the extremes of off-road racing, and its narrow 15x5 width and high offset are chosen for handling and steering feedback; Method calls it one of the top choices among UTV racers. Like the 401 it has the 12 window design, solid cast aluminum construction and a forged beadlock ring that holds the tire on at any pressure.

Why Choose the Method 401-R

• True beadlock: a bolted outer ring clamps the tire's outer bead to the wheel so the tire cannot unseat or spin on the rim, even at very low pressure. Beadlocks are built for racing, dunes and rock crawling and are generally intended for off-road use; check your local rules before driving on public roads.
• Hardware included: the beadlock ring and Grade 8 zinc-plated hardware kit come with the wheel. Beadlock bolts should be checked and torqued regularly per Method's instructions.
• Race-proven strength: the reinforced inner lip resists dents and cracks from hard hits.

• How to read the size options: each option shows wheel diameter x width (inches), bolt pattern, and offset in millimeters / backspacing + front spacing in inches. For example 15x7 | 4x156mm | 13/4+3 is a 15 inch by 7 inch wheel, 4 lug on a 156mm circle, 13mm offset, 4 inches of backspacing and 3 inches of front spacing.

• Fitment is by bolt pattern. Choose the bolt pattern your machine uses:

• 4x156 bolt pattern: Polaris RZR XP 1000, XP Turbo, Turbo S, Pro XP, RS1, RZR 900, Trail and S models (older RZR 570, 800 and XP 900 too), Polaris General and Ranger 1000, XP 900 and XP 1000; Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000, Ridge and Mule Pro; Yamaha YXZ1000R (2019 and newer) and Wolverine RMAX.
• 4x136 (4x137) bolt pattern: Can-Am Maverick X3, Commander, Defender, Maverick Sport, Trail and 1000R; Honda Talon and Pioneer 1000; Kawasaki Teryx.
• 5x4.5 (5x114.3) bolt pattern: Polaris RZR Pro R, Turbo R, Pro S and XP S, Polaris Xpedition and Ranger XD 1500.

• Check your machine's bolt pattern, and the offset and width your suspension and tires need, before ordering. Offset and backspacing change how far the tire sits from the suspension and fenders. Call us with your machine and tire size if you are not sure.
