WHAT TOE LINKS DO

On a trailing arm rear suspension, each rear wheel is carried on a long arm that pivots from the frame ahead of the wheel. The toe link is a shorter link that ties that arm to the chassis and controls the wheel's toe, which is whether the front of the tire points slightly in, slightly out or straight ahead. Correct toe keeps the rear of the machine tracking straight and helps the tires wear evenly. If a toe link is bent or its joints are worn, the rear wheel can steer itself over bumps, which makes the machine feel loose or darty and wears tires.

Toe links sit low and to the side, where they take hits from rocks, stumps and ruts. Because these are made to match L&W trailing arms, they keep your L&W rear suspension working the way it was designed.
