Crafted from our exclusive custom blend of ultra high molecular weight polymer, these 1/2" plastic skids surpass traditional metal or aluminum skid plates in numerous ways. Not only are they lighter in weight, but their superior shock-absorption capabilities prevent dents, galling, and corrosion that often plague metal alternatives.

Trail Armor is proud to be the pioneer in the industry, introducing skid plates with advanced formed leading edges on both the front and rear. These leading edges serve a dual purpose: safeguarding vulnerable frame edges and wheel wells from blunt impacts, and providing a smooth starting edge to effortlessly glide over obstacles. Unlike metal skid plates, our innovative design eliminates resistance and drag during navigation. Our skid plates are conveniently packaged as easy-to-install panels, covering the entire length and width of your vehicle, including the front and rear differential. Access holes strategically placed for service points and oil drains ensure hassle-free maintenance. Specially engineered drain holes allow for effortless cleaning without the need to remove the skid plates. However, if necessary, individual panels can be removed to access specific areas without dismantling the entire assembly.

The mounting holes are thoughtfully recessed to shield fasteners from impacts, preventing any damage and ensuring a flush surface. All kits include corrosion-resistant hardware and come with photo-documented installation instructions.
