The sway bar links are the short rods that connect the ends of the sway bar to the suspension, and the joints at their ends pivot constantly.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eL\u0026amp;W Fab sway bar links use uniball joints at their ends. A uniball is a spherical bearing (a ball inside a housing) that lets the link swivel in many directions. On each side of the ball sits a misalignment spacer, which centers the ball in its mount and lets it swivel without binding. These spacers wear over time, and worn spacers can cause clunking or slop.
