The XP Turbo's factory diverter valve is constructed from plastic and may distort or fracture under high temperatures, resulting in power loss and boost leaks. It is possible to replace this valve with a factory-style recirculating diverter valve or a standard blow-off valve that produces the desired "blow-off" sound.
